Spoken Word Special – Life Cycles

Hello everyone!

Pardon my incoherence – I was a little hyper, buzzed and hungry!

I was at the Science Museum in London to celebrate Tim Peake’s mission to the ISS, the first publicly funded British astronaut – the first British astronaut being Dr. Helen Sharman. I luckily managed to be in the audience for Stargazing Live, which had Dr. Sharman and Chris Hadfield talking about their experiences, as well as live footage of Peake coming on board the ISS after a successful docking!

Here’s more about Dr. Helen Sharman:

She made a great case for funding Space Travel in the UK, highlighting its growing expertise in Technology, Industry and Science. Chris Hadfield was amazing too, expanding on his experiences in space!

And here’s more about Tim Peake and his journey:

See you soon!
